Great to breathe some fresh air, great to see many unknown people…..great everything!

My recent trends…

As always on last several seasons, I was into some small stuff during preparations for upcoming show…

This time…

r1

r2

These vintage Japanese matches from G.I. days…

r3

r4

“ONBORO” means wrecked or tattered or weathered or something like that…

r5

r6

r7

r8

Didn’t forget to reinforce work or industrial category…

r9

And, I have been feeling light” DECO” flavors….. yet some 50s flavor which can be adopted to work or industrial is also good…and Industrial stuff with deco or 50s influence is good as well…

r10

These are some examples….

STRONGHOLD

As you may know, Stronghold….was not making only Charlie Chaplin’s striped overalls…

.s1

….yet Western styled jacket….at least in the 30s.

s2

I mean “Western”, does not necessarily mean “cowboy”, but more precisely,  Left coaster.

s3

What separates this from LEVI’S or its clone is…..

s4

its distinctively ancient drop-shoulder pattern, and other rare antique details such as extra-high yoke, right-square wide spread collar…

s5

Hi, Steve!

s6

I love this shape and its placement….a genius was there.

s8

Can you see the faint trace of high-back overalls’ suspender?  Right, it is a workwear…

s9

They even have own rule for how to rivet its cinch-back…..so different.

s10

Surprisingly, I have this jacket from my Japan days….yes, I left Tokyo in 1987.

s11

Wow!  History!  (Takeshi)
