NYTはPost O’Allsを所有するPantograph, Inc.の別ディビジョンで、主にバッグとフォトTシャツに特化したブランドとして2000年頃から始動しました。

ディレクターは内藤カツで、現在はフォトグラファーとして活躍しています。バッグ類は、当時としては画期的であったアメリカ軍のデッドストックのナイロンウエビングをストラップに使用しており、Post O’Allsオリジナルバッグ類の多くはNYTに別注したものでした。ブランド立ち上げ時のバッグのデザインはPost O’Allsのデザイナーである大淵毅が共同監修しています。

このT-2 ToteはNYTのトートバッグの中でも肩掛けを想定しないショートハンドルのレアモデルで、米空軍のヘルメットバッグをコンパクトにしたようなムードを持っています。根強いショートハンドルファンの方にもお勧めです。
